Wasn't able to hunt Saturday due to my step-daughters basketball game(wife knew I wasn't happy this being the last weekend of the season). So me and a buddy went out Sunday to finish up the season. Set up on in island in the middle of a flat. Started slow with only 2 teal the first hour of LST, then in the neighboring Refuge area someone shot and the marsh woke up. We were covered in birds all morning but having trouble getting them to fully commit, they would get 75 yrds out and circle back around....come back around and land behind about 100 yrds. We had to shoot fly-by's all morning and I had 3 shells left to hit 1 bird and finally bagged a limit with one last gadwall. This season has been one of the best on record for me. Ready for next season to roll around!  My buddies dog on the last retrieve.

I shot once and got one bird but would have rather had a limit on my last shell.
