Trying to repeat as champions in any sport is not easy. But Chicago, Murder Capital and Gun Control Capital of the USA, took a giant leap forward with 5 murders last night. All were between 2 and 5 am.
Hmm, wonder if CNN is going to be covering this one 24/7, camp out in the neighborhood, maybe Wolf and Anderson Cooper attend the funerals? Nah, probably not.
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, has taken dramatic steps to curb the violence there by asking BofA and other major banks to stop lending money to gun manufacturers. Wow, that'll clean up the city.

37 confirmed for the month. Some of MSN only count gun homicides that's why the count varies. There have already been one by beating, two by arson and two by stabbing. The score was 40 in Jan of 2012.

A website is published that actually shows an aerial map of deaths by neighborhood "from street to street" and pinpoints the "deadliest sections of town". It is a war zone of sorts up there and your right, you will not see any live feeds from Anderson or Wolf or anybody else for that matter...

Deaths ( all including non-combat fatalaties ) from Oct 7 2003 till present 2166
Chicago homicides from the same approximate time 4797
Of the 534 or so from last year not one from a so called assault rifle.

Unconfirmed reports now make it not 5 but 7 seven homicides for Saturday.

I finally understand why other presidents have kept our troops in Iraq and Afganistan. They are safer with the terrorists than in Chicago. Since we are so war crazy, (war on guns, war on drugs, war on gangs etc.) why don't we deploy our troops in Chicago and clean up the streets? Wait, sorry that would be too close to enforcement of law. Seems to me that the "Gun Free Zones" in Chicago need a war effort.

sad story, but what is a 16yr old doing in a park in chicago around 1am?
they confiscate more guns there b/c they have made it difficult for law abiding citizens to get one, so most of the guns in chicago are illegally owned and should be confiscated
