 Hog down w/ 300 Blackout.

Shot this hog w/ 208 AMAX out of my AAC micro 7 over the weekend. The rounds were subsonic, and knocked him straight down. Used my SilencerCo Osprey for a silencer. It's a pistol can, but it's rated for subsonic 300 blk

Is that flir worth the money? I borrowed this as well ( Nice friends) and If I hunted as much as he does, I'd say HECK YES. It's amazing. It helped us find and shoot hogs at 12am. Did you recover the bullet? How did it look? I did not recover the bullet, this was one of the last ones we shot, so I just gutted it, and sent it to the butcher. I was pretty interested in that as well, but it was cold and rainy and I was ready to get out of there. It did NOT pass though. My .308 shooting 178 Amax blasted though both sides of a similar sized hog. When did u pick up that rifle ? What's the weight on it ? It's my buddies, but I ordered one this morning from buds. 6.5 lbs is the weight
