It's been a while since we've had a books thread (billoxner is slacking). What are you reading now?
I just finished The Personal MBA and started today on A Patriots History of the United States.

I found a list online of 100 books every man should read so I'm starting in on that next. First from that list will be The Count of Monte Cristo.

Just finished, "The Big Rock Candy Mountain" by Wallace Stegnar. It was pretty good in spite of the depressing father/son relationship.

This one is on my list as well. Fall of Giants was great. I really like Follett's books.

Does the Texas Hunting Forum count? With my limited amount of spare time, the Forum is the only thing I read that isn't work related. Perhaps this is telling me I need to find a new job. scratch

This book has been sitting on my bookshelf for a few months and I have no idea how it got there. I may start it tonight.

I read a lot and my iPad has brought me lots of grief from my better half (it's too easy to buy books!) She's limited me to just one book a payday. I've read all the CJ Box stuff about game warden Joe Pickett. Several of the latest from Clancy, Michael Connelly, John Grisham and James Patterson. I just bought two books from Amazon by Robert Ruark - The Lost Classics and The Old Man and the Boy. Life of Pi was pretty good. If you haven't read Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand - that needs to be high on your list!

I wish I could figure out a way to share iBooks...sigh

I have read all the Grisham's except for his last 2. They are great. I didn't know Life of Pi was a book but I'd like to see the movie.

I hate that I have so little time and there are so many books I wanna read!

The Bob Lee Swagger books by Stephen Hunter are great. So are the Dave Robicheaux books by James Lee Burke.

That was a good book. Follett had to almost do some trick writing to keep from have some incest going on in there.

I'm now reading Back to Blood, by Thomas Wolfe. Wolfe is a kook, or at least writes about some kooks.
