I always see a lot of trucks there when going home from hunting on Sundays. I forget the name but think it may be southern cooking or even BBQ. Has anyone eaten there and is it any good?

Are you talking about the one by the liquor store, if so it gets an F. Smith Corner is the proper place to eat in Bryson.

I'm talking about the one before Bryson coming from Jacksboro, on the righthand side, road to Jermyn I believe. It is probably Smith Corner. Is that BBQ?

That would be Cottons. It has BBQ, but dont try it. The Chile Rellanos are their best item. Pretty good tacos as well.

Smith Corner does have some outstanding food though. I love their hamburger.

Good to know, I will avoid Cottons. I also will continue to avoid Clayton's BBQ in Graham. Sanderson's always looks crowded, how is their food? What about Dos Chiles, there's a new one in Graham?

Not a fan of Cottons. As a young man growing up in graham and there not being anything there at the time my parents would go to Cottons or the small mexican restaurant which they just tore down as a "date" and this was a special occasion for us all, them and all four kids. I never realized I didn't really like it until I was older and I've been there once in ten years and still don't like it.

Sanderson's is good, we ate there a lot. Decent buffet and great salad bar. Been gone from Graham area for a couple of years so I can't speake for the Dos Chilies. I don't like the Dos Chilies in Boyde.

There are Dos Chilis in Bridgeport, Boyd, Bowie, and the new one in Graham. It is one of my favorite places to eat mexican food. I prefer their fajitas, steak ranchero, and things like that. I don't really eat enchiladas or tamales.

Don't eat at Cottons. Drive to Jacksboro and eat at The Green Frog. Back in the '60s-'70s the Green Frog was without a doubt the best restaurant in North Texas.

Sandersons is good, foys decent steak, cottons awful, smith corner decent breakfast, good burgers, the Mexican food place on the square in jacksboro decent.

I turn west on 380 towards Graham, what way is the Green Frog from that turnoff? Is it in the town square?

I turn west on 380 towards Graham, what way is the Green Frog from that turnoff? Is it in the town square? When you get to Jacksboro and you would keep heading north on Hwy 281. Continue north through the light that you normally turn left at (Hwy 380) to go to Graham. The Green Frog is down on the right. I've stopped in there before and it seemed like everything was out of a can. I wasn't very impressed at all. Smith's Corner is the gas station at the blinking light in Bryson. Really good burgers. The best bbq I've had in Graham is Chauncey Que. He's in the little red storage building at I want to say it's at Southview and Elm St (Hwy 16). It's south of the square. Problem is he's never there. I think he's only open during the week and has limited hours. Maybe a local on here can help me out with th hours. But if you can catch him open it's definitely worth the stop. Some of the best bbq I've ever had. Only been to Sanderson's one time and had the buffet. It was typical buffet food. It filled a void. Don't know about the bbq.
