Found a few honeyholes scouting after a bad hunt saturday AM. We laid it down on them. Could have had limits 5 minutes in but had two bad [censored] hunts picking and choosing ducks to shoot. At times had dozens of gadwall, teal, and widgeon swimming around in the decoys waiting for the pintails and chosen drakes to put feet down and get baptized. Saw over 10,000 ducks by 9am both mornings. They are here and pretty. Still no green.....

Is that a golden? My golden is an unbelievable retriever considering the lack of training. He's also a heck of a hunting dog considering he sleeps in a king sized pillow top Stearns & Foster.
I too think your shades are pretty fly.
"I just assume kill em as eat em...but after this little shoot, I would have my doubts about that."

Nice hunt at Cedar Creek. Thought that lake was too low but I guess not.

I too think your shades are pretty fly. He is an English Golden. He went through basic retriever training, which I was very disapointed in. He went back monday to get his advanced training and his senior titles. He should be back in time for dove season...
