I went on a hog hunting trip with some friends. We used dogs and knives to hunt these suckers. We ended up with 6 hogs over 2 days of hunting. The first was our biggest, a boar about 250lbs, and the second was the one I killed myself, a good eatin lil sow. I had a great time with these guys and learned alot about dogs

Its amazing what dogs will do for a lease infested with hogs...we use to run them hard durring the spring and summer and it improved deer hunting big time

Do you all find that getting the hogs all riled before the kill has any impact on the quality or taste of their meat? Hunters near me swear that the amount of adrenaline in their systems can impact their taste negatively to the point where if they sell it, others around them will know when they eat it. Just want some opinions, no judgements imparted or implied.
Korea is nothing like Germany, and no amount of Army Modernization propaganda will convince me otherwise. I miss my wife and kids something fierce

I dont know yet but I do have the meat so when I eat it I'll let you know. It was my first time to hunt like that. The other guys said it tasted good though.

There's a difference between mad and stressed out. When one stresses out u will know they will lock up and can't move right. On white hogs u can tell real easy cuz their pigment turns to pinkish red

Looks like you went Rambo on that hog. When I lived in Daingerfield/Hughes Springs about 26 yrs ago, we never saw hogs. I am glad there is something to hunt there now when deer season is not in swing. I sure miss that area, very beautiful. Great kill!

I'm about to get on them at my place guns, traps, dogs whatever it takes. Yotes as well. Nice kill bud.
