Yes all I've seen do and Wal-Mart too. The lady at Wal-Mart was locking the case as I walked by yesterday and I asked if she was worried about that box of 20 gauge and those five boxes of .22 shorts she had left. She laughed and said yeah the zombies are coming. That was all that was in the entire glass case.

Killeen the same. People are buying stuff so fast they stopped putting it on the shelf, just roll the pallet out at 8am and limit everyone to i think 5 boxes. And even crazier with guns... some people camping out just in case something shows up on a truck

By the way, mostly shotgun shells. The back aisle had shipping boxes full of shotgun birdshot, thats it. Could you imagine IF this happened just before HUNTING SEASON? Some really PIZZED OFF texans not able to grab 1 box of shells for camp. Like this up in minnesota also. Glad I was only picking up some fishing tackle.

At the 2 stores near my house in South Austin, there was plenty of everything except .223 and .308 when I was there a couple days ago. A buddy of mine who lives north of Austin in Hutto says that the shelves in the Academy by his house look like the pics you posted. When I bought my last rifle a few months ago I was torn between the .308 and the 30-06. Glad I went with the 30-06 because I have no problem finding ammo.

Ok so it's cuz ppl don't wanna get shut out for ammo. 243, 22-250, 30-30, and 30-06 aren't like that are they?

One of these days after the socialist figure out this will end up being a losing proposition for them in the long run and either do nothing or pass some kind of an feel good bill that does little to nothing, everyone will be so stocked up with ammo, they will not be buying any for a long time. The shelves will be full and the prices will be reasonable again.

I'm hoping so DCS, but just think how long it'll take manufacturing to get caught up. Lots of people will continue buying 'cause they don't want to be shut out again in the future. Kind of that, caught with 'ur pants down proposition this time around for alot of guys. And, I don't believe we are outa' the woods yet with this government. & who'll get in for the next 4 years, Hillary or Bloomberg?? Scary!
