My dad has nikko O/U 12ga. with skeet barrells, Has some engraving on it and nice wood, the blue is ok has some faded spots. He was wanting some kind of idea because he said he wants to get a 20ga. Thanks

Go to www.gunbroker.com and search for your shotgun. You should be able to find similiar shotguns and get an estimated value for your weapon.

They vary- the Nikko is an interesting shot gun. They were their own entity until the joint venture w/Winchester after which there shotguns were made the same as the 101. Winchester eventually sold out their part to some other Co.(can't rememer the name) and now they are all out of business. Theoriginal agreement was that Nikko only sell their name in Japan. If that gun was made after Winchester went into buisness with them- that gun IMHO is as good as a Winchester 101 . UNfortunately it won't pull the same money, but the quality is definately there. I have seen one for sale in 12ga for $550.00, but usually the lighter ga's go for alittle more. Hope this helps in some strange way
