At my local walk in and am the only one here. Looks like Barney has given up since its such a long walk in...Only saw 4 ducks on the whole lake yesterday wouldn't ya know it they were right over my dekes!! Just too high for an ethical shot. Let em get out a lil and called to then they made a half hearted attempt to come back but didn't. That's why it's hunting and not killing I guess!! GOOD LUCK this morning guys and gals!!

Hunting the river today here in centex, at a spot where I watched about 100 birds land yesterday morning. Hopefully they come back!

Well I had 3 groups come in that wouldn't work. All high flyers. Did have one green wing drake that flew too close though so didn't get skunked!!

It was a fantastic day today. Four of us shot 24 assorted Greys, Widgeon and Teal. I was surprised since there was hardly any wind.
No pics. I hate using the IPhone and I keep forgetting my camera.

Killed 4 all grey, no green for the wife or boy this morning. Probably one of my slowest hunts this year, but we had fun.

Got to the plan B spot and no one was there. 30 minutes after daylight, had someone drive down and give me a look. 15 minutes later had another one. Another 30 minutes and deer hunters show up and messed around getting ready to go out for about 20 minutes.
Never saw a duck, near or far. Just one of those days. Every place I looked was covered up in hunters. Only heard a couple of shots.

Really slow today. Beautiful but slow. Hard to stay awake in the layout blind once the sun came up...

Very slow day! Wasn't many birds around this morning on the water of even flying high. The blue bird, calm conditions let them raft up on the big water. Needed some wind. Glad I decided to set up the jerk sting 10 minutes before LST!
