depends. We don't charge by inch, we charge by tine. If we do the skull or shoulder mount then it is $40 for the first tine and $35 for each additional one. If we only do the tine repair of a mount we did not do then the minimum rate is $75.

My taxidermist charges $25 a tine but if they are abnormal or freaky it goes up.

There are 2 brothers in Kerrville that have done 2 repair jobs for me and they are top notch. Best I have seen. When they are done you will not know the repair was even done. He does not use another antler to repair the busted one. He will stain and put in detail to match the rest of the beam or tines. PM if you want the contact info.
This buck has a repair done and most can't tell.

You got 12 guesses left or you can poll the audience....lol
I told you the guys are that good. I handed the antlers to friends after the repair and they could not tell which one it was.

If I had to guess, its right right g4, about an inch above the main beam. Looks like a change in color there.

Which one? You listed two tines and only one was repaired on the rack.

I'm saying G4

Looks a little shinier at the base than the rest. I could be wrong tho

Regardless, awesome repair job. If you didn't know it was repaired you would never see. Awesome deer too up

G4 looks like you can see the line at an angle from the repair, but that is one of the best I have seen. I have tried to make repairs on a broke horn on my mount that and they come out good but not this good.

Yep that would be the one. It was broken down into the mainbeam.

The reason that area is shinier is due to the other original antler fading out a bit. There is a 8 yr difference in time frame between the 2 pics also.
