yes, it will smell good until i varnish it, then it wont smell

Put the varnish only on the sides that show...Under the top can be left natural..Good looking desk...

it is heavy, about 200 pounds. I thought about drawers or shelves, but this desk is just not big enough. if i made one bigger, I could put shelves or drawers

Man that's slick, I could use something like that just a little bigger, some drawers and the front going all the way to the ground with the Texas seal on the front
