Agreed.

Call Bob Goodlette of VA. He's the head of the House Judiciary Committee and he is pro-gun. Tell him he's awesome and to continue killing anti-gun bills. Promise to donate to his campaign

Yes I am, even though I reload I will not be caught flat footed again. I don't trust our government period. Now instead of buying a 1000 primers I will buy 2000, and put back 1000 of those. Instead of buying one box of ammo I will buy two and bank one of them. Use one/save one is going to be my motto for everything ammo and reloading related.

Not because he didnt want to usurp the power.

He knew he couldnt pull it off.

YOu all need to remember. The fight is NOT over. We have mid term elections and for more years to go. Just because he did not ban any mags, ammo, or assault rifle features today does not mean they are letting up one bit.

Keep contacting your reps! JOIN the NRA or GOA now!

If we slack up one bit the will hit hard!

Good one. Now maybe I can find a decent price magazine for my mini 14 soon. Lost two of them somehow but not really worried about it that bad also.

Gonna be a lot of remorseful buyers trying to get back some of their "investment".

We'll see how the "gotta do something!" PANIC buying has worked out for those who fell for it. rofl

Won't happen. Remember how many guns were sold leading up to Y2K? Everyone was saying the same thing- "the market will be flooded".
Didn't happen.
Most people that buy guns- even first-timers- end up keeping them....

Don't exhale to much y'all. The fat lady may've hummed but didn't sing her full chorus.

Keep writing your rep's and refer as many as you know to the NRA.

Well, we'll see. Y2K was during a different economy, as was the 2008 rush. I bought from those looking to recoup some of their losses after O's initial election for pennies on the dollar. Not just rifles but ammo and components as well.

All things being equal (because they never are), lots of folks out there have spent money they either didn't need to spend or didn't have it to spend. They ALWAYS do. Panic purchasing is an expensive thing. Know when to buy.

Either way, the stupidity in the market should subside over next year or so barring any other major incidents.

Ok, who is the 4th kid. He said all their names, and he read letters from 3 of them. Did he miss the 4th kid or was he placed there to cover all races?

I was picking up brass Monday - a LOT of people are not going to the range. Hardly any 223 brass out there, and there is usually a ton of it.

Agree with most, this guy hasn't even "officially" began his second term and he is all about his legacy. 2014 will be HUGE!!!!! If he takes both houses he would pass AWB before he is out of office.

On the other note a lot of panic buying will slow, still gonna take the market a while to catch up so I don't think you will see a flood of anything anytime soon. So for right now if you have what people want u will be able to sell it but doubt panic prices will be as bad, still above MSRP.

My sons(10 and 14) are going to send letters to obozo. Seeing how they both hunt and own AR's, it's not going to be asking for new laws. I don't see him putting them on stage with him, as they understand the second amendment and will be calling him out on it.

I applaud getting our children involved writing letters to the President and our elected officials on issues that concern us. Excellent practical life lesson. flag

Unfortunately, my gut feeling is that letters written to this administration with an opposing viewpoint to their agendas from ANYONE will never see the light of day.
