I have a small 18 acre place that is L.F. that is about a half a mile from the main place. I have a feeder on it that throws out a little corn in the morning and a little in the afternoon. this afterrnoon I went over there to check the feeder. It was about an hour before the feeder was to go off. I saw a few deer around so I threw out some corn. I backed off around 50 yds. and watched. 10 Wt. and an axis doe came out within 5 minutes while I was there.

So, what is better and what should cost more? A small lease like 18 acres with a lot of deer or a 300 acre lease with very few deer?

Wish I had that problem. I have 300 acres and a handful of deer this year!

At my buddy's place in Llano/Gillespie, if you shake a bucket of corn and throw it out, you'll have a minimum of 30 deer in 10 minutes. There are definitely way, way too many.

I have that at my feeder. Only mine are all does. About 8 are always waiting for the feeder to go off. I guess it's a good thing. We can only shoot a doe on one weekend of the year though.

I was also able to notice that we had a couple of twin sets this year.
