The animals pics are at the Sybille (pronounced "suh-BEEL") National Wildlife Experimental area. It is near the place where they discovered the Rocky Mountain Black-footed ferret wasn't extinct. Thus wildlife biologists set up an area to study them and it has expanded. Its a cool little side of the road place about an hour northwest of Cheyenne.

My children and a cow elk. She actually reached through the fence and chewed on my older son's jacket!

Cow moose.

My wife and a big horn ram. (Not her favorite pic!)

My older son, Canaan, and the sheep.

My little girl, Lily.

And lastly my daredevil 7 year old, Jaret.

I forgot his name, but clearly the sexiest man on THF!

Guernsey State Park and reservoir from about 500 feet up a cliff. It is rather amazing geology.

Out to go sledding on Christmas Day. My childrens' first time to sled! They loved it, eventhough the high was about 10 degrees.

At the Oregon Trail Ruts National Historic Site. Can't really see the ruts because they are full of snow, but so many wagons were pulled over these hills that at its deepest part the rut is just shy of 6 feet deep. THAT IS A LOT OF WAGONS!

I hope you enjoyed the pics.

Indeed it was a wonderful time, gentlemen. Thank you. We also saw probably better than 500 antelope and more than 100 mulies in our 5 day trip too. I'm putting in for a mulie tag this year.

Thank you all.

Gordon, you should take Cindy up there for a vacation. I can tell you all the good and inexpensive places to go.

Thats a nice drive from Laramie to Wheatland (the wildlife preserve).

Wyoming is awesome and I love living here. Texas will always be home, but Wyoming is a very nice place to stay.

JWP- Indeed, Bosler pass is a lovely place. What part if Wyo do you live in?

Double- I'm putting in for mulie tags this year. I haven't hunted up there in almost 20 years. I hope I get lucky.

Nice pics. But you need to buy your wife a new pair of jeans before next years vacation.
