http://s1336.beta.photobucket.com/user/12buckaroo/library/# My 11 year old son was invited for a late season hunt by a gracious in-law. Ex in-law. Whatever you'd like to call it. This was his first hunt with a birthday gift savage 243 model 110. For several years now he has sat patiently in the stand by my side through countless hours of darkness, blistering cold and absolute boredom. He has gathered firewood, helped repair fences, cleaned up camp behind himself and less considerate others. All of those things were always happily done with the anticipation of earning the privlege to one day harvest the lands natural bounty on his own accord. He never once complained, only asked when we can hurry up and come back. This is the first trophy for a well deserved young hunter. 150 yards 100 grain federals, bang flop. Congrats son.

Good for him! Congrats to the young man as well as Dad. My son got his fisrt deer this year as well. I don't care what all of the gun haters say. Teach a kid to hunt keeps them out of trouble and teaches them respect. Once again congrats to yall!!!
