Congrats! Lever guns are great. Take a look at the Hornady LEVERevolution ammo. It will offer you great ballistics including longer range than the traditional 30-30 ammo.

Love those guns. My grandpa still has his dad's old marlin 30-30. Hope to be adding one to my collection soon

Marlin is hard to beat gotta love the ole dirty-30. If you ever get rid of it you'll always want it back.
