When a 1,000-pound wild hog was shot last year in Alabama, 11-year-old hunter Jamison Stone couldn’t have been happier. But his prize photos of the 9-foot-long boar have continued to cause a stink, one the Stone family can’t seem to shake. Anybody notice a familiar name in this article? http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,394344,00.html

I wish she would come back her again.

From what I have seen, she made the rounds of the various hunting sites trying to drum up support.

I just wish that media & people like her COULDNT get info from sites like this. I realize that anyone can sit & read, copy, paste, ect the info from site like this but its just too bad there isnt something that could be done to prevent losers like her taking text & such from places like this & using its AGAINST hunters/hunting.

It boggles the mind how the uneducated just continue to spit rhetoric with no regard to the consequences. That boy did a service to the wildlife in the area. Sheesh!!

I hope the kid understands how ridiculous this slander is and continues to enjoy the outdoors. I would love to see him champion the hunter and outdoorsmen by continuing to do what it appears he enjoys. A little press time with him and his dad back in the woods might go a long ways. "11 year old Alabama boy back in the woods to top the 1000 pound pig kill". It might make for some good headlines?
H20thief ------------ Positive thinking may not solve all your problems but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Anyone notice the part where she uses the phrase "low velocity weapon"?
Just a classic case of how the liberals can spin anything to make it look worse than it is!!
What is should have said was "16 shots from the most powerfull handgun cartridge in the world"!! But I guess telling half truths looks better to the uninformed readers!

I didn't read the article but it wasn't any type of "hunt".
The pig was a guy's pet, bought and turned loose then "hunted" shortly after. The pig had a name. lol
The boy had to shoot it a dozen times which is insane to begin with.
His father and the outfitter asked for all this publicity and they got it. Can't blame the boy as he had no idea. The hunt was advertised on aldeer.com I believe also.
Nothing wild about that pig and nothing ethical in how they killed the thing. I feel for the boy but daddy gets what they deserve as far as criticism.

Only to the President of the United States.
Then you need to look at each states' laws. For example, in Louisiana, I can say I'm going to kill you all day long. I don't get in trouble until I brandish a weapon. Once I cross that line, the police can arrist you for assault.

Yes, it is against the law. Arrests are made made all the time. In this situation, however it would be hard to prosecute because it is a complete stranger making the threats..

that was a canned hunt "deluxe" plus a kid with a .50 caliber pistol taking that many shots??? that was a pet pig raised and sold by his owners, there was no hunting to it. why did it take so many shots to kill it?? that pig had to have suffered after taking so many shots, these guys ought to be ashamed, I notice you aint heard much from them since this happened. unfortunately this goes on like in high fence hunting in Texas where game that belongs to the state is claimed privately as "captive" game behind a fence they cant escape.

There is a retraction on the bottom right of the page. Apparently Rhonda claimed after that she didn't quite say things like they printed.
Whatever, this thing did get ridiculous quick.
