Used to hunt there. More Barney's than ducks if that's what you like.

Yes. But they separate them in realistic distances. Great place to start for the beginners. I had my ballz kicked on a few teal hunts there.

I hunted there once. Did the waiting in line deal, slept in the truck, then got told where to hunt. Ended up getting skunked, then I totaled my truck on the way home. I decided I better not go back.

Yup, I'm hoping freshwater impoundments are still available. Still waiting on my number.

Let us know how you did. I used to go when they had those Saturday adult/youth hunts once a month. You could pass shoot snows pretty easily and smack a few ducks as well. I used to take my boy there every youth weekend as well.

I wasn't at the campfire, I was in the camper. There were few birds where I hunted. Nobody around me killed anything to speak of either.

Its just so much work for so little action.

Ya I got tired of shooting our limit of redheads then watching the swarm the rest of the day trying to pick out a bluebill.
