By Congress I'm guessing you mean The House of Representatives. The Senate is already bought and paid for. Anyway, as Lou Dobbs mention some nights ago : "The Republicans(they control only The House) is on the precipice of irrelavancy". Dang scary since it could actually happen....for all practical purposes, a one party government.

It has been said on other threads but the reason we (conservatives) are in this position is we have not played by the same rules as the lib-tards. We have let them control the debate, on not only gun control, but a whole list of issues. Liberals have true libs that they elect, us to the right only have a handful of elected federal officials that can call themselves true conservatives. I spineless clown like Boehner is not the solution and should't be the "face" conservatism. ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES! Local, state and federally.

I had a Political Science professor in college who made a statement that has always stuck with me. It was to the effect that the most influential branch of government on our everyday lives is the supreme court. Congress/POTUS can pass all the bs laws they want, but when these are challenged, who has the last word? the supreme court...and we all know which way they will be leaning in the coming years.

We the People are protected under the Constitution. But we have let it get this far. It is our fault, we should have stood up to them long ago.

Our founding fathers warned us and we let it happen anyways. We the People are justified to remove from power the tyranical government by any means neccessary even if that means revolution. According to the Constitution. And the Constitution is THE law.
