My 14 year old son dry fired his new Bowtech Diamond Edge. I told him to handle the issue, so he called Huntersfriend.com (where we ordered thew bow from) and they referred him to Allstar Archery. They restrung his bow and allowed him to practice for an hour for $12 dollars. They answered 50 questions from him. They were very patient and helpful to him. I strongly recommend them!!!!

Allstar is expensive and under staffed. I honestly have given them several chances to earn my biz, even bought my sons first bow there. They didnt stand behind the parts they installed which falled of poor quality. And they charge $7 to refletch arrows? And they answer their cell phones all the time while helping customers. No competition or they would go under quickly.

dogo - Allstar treated my son and me great. I dont mind high prices with great service. I spent $250 there on misc. stuff and I knew I could get it 20% cheaper on the internet. I like to support local businesses with great service.....

Never had a problem with All Star when I lived there....I bought a bow from dgilbert, took it there and they set me up and let me use the range for free......
even drank a beer with them once closing time had come.....

After that they had my business all the time......

I'll throw my two cents in. I have known Troy for 20 plus years, from back in the ole times of Nix shooting supplies. He has always been helpful and advised me on the latest and greatest stuff. With price in mind too. Yes, they are probably higher than the big stores, but they are hunters and they know there stuff. I bought my second bow from them last year and set it up, let me shoot, and tweaked it for me..They get an A+ in my book anytime!

I've done some events with Allstar since they were a Bowtech dealer, some of guys that worked the shows with me were pretty nice guys. They are high on prices, that's what happens when your overhead is high.

Their prices are lower than Cinnamon Creek Ranch. Any archery shop is going to be higher than Cabelas, Bass Pro, Academy, etc but you are also paying more because they know what they are doing. I have tried several others in the area and All Star is by far the best I have found.

I went there for just an answer to a couple of questions I had on bow flight I know the owner is a big bow hunter but doesn't seem too interested in talking unless you are buying. Some archers aren't as experienced and they get treated like envilides if they don't know the simpliest questions they might have Bow hunting is my life and I would have no problem teaching or helping a newby begin to enjoy what bow hunting brings to me. I agree with Dogo in that no competition in north Texas they can act and price as they please with competition they would go under They might know their stuff but don't treat someone like they are stupid if he or she might not know something Bass pro will install anything on your bow even if it's not bought from them for FREE Then let you shoot in a over the top archery range upstairs to test your equipment I would take kind happy people over a bunch of knowitalls who treat you like crap

I highly recommend All Star Archery. I've used them for years, going back to Nix also. Troy and Ken can work on my bow anytime.

This is good to know... I went to CCR looking for Dyron last week and he was gone. That dude is a heck of a bow tech! When he left All Star, I left. He seems to be the only one in there that has any personality or customer service skills...

Ive known Troy a long time as well. Always has my business!

To me it depends on which of their staff you deal with. Most have been really helpful even if just talking and not buying.

I bought a Mission for my daughter from Allstar and they were really good and helpful. I checked out a new shop in Little Elm called Wolf Lodge Archery and the people in there are just as good to deal with.

Was there today at the range. They are first class and extremly knowledgeable
