Deer 1:  Lookout spot at work:  1st Coyote:  Melanistic deer at work. First one I have seen, and I luckily had my new camera I got for Christmas with me:  Best buck from the lease this year killed last weekend by another lease member:  Snow on Friday morning:  Beer resting in remnants of snow! I was excited...it was the first time I have been able to bury my coors in snow!  Deer 2:  Trapped pork from this morning!   Also shot a eating size hog last night and another members son shot one Thursday. Always a good weekend when 7 hogs get taken out! It has been a great hunting season and although a big buck eluded me, I would not trade the opportunities I have for anything. Happy hunting!

The gun is a weatherby vangard in .243. It is my go to gun for the lease. Great gun for what it cost. I hunt in Blanco county.

Make that 11, brother shot 3 I shot 1  Looks like yal had a fun weekend. That windmil picture looks very similar to a place we hunted in Kendal Co, kinda brings back some warm and fuzzies.

Of course you trap em now Just the way it goes, I had 7 deer at the feeder I hunted Sunday morning lol. We could hardly pay to see a deer the weekend you came. Guess I need to train them better.

In that picture with the melanistic deer is that a doe or buck to the left at the edge of the cedar tree.
