I havnt read American rifleman in awhile but it was a good one when I had it.

I have been thinking about getting Americas 1st freedom, been curious about it myself.

I joined NRA last year and got renewal notices for the next 3 months about daily. Crazy..........

You can request no phone calls or junk mail through your online account from what I understand.

But meh, the junk mail never bothered me. I can simply turn and throw it away if I dont want it.

Its a small price to pay for the benefits the NRA provide.

Cool, went ahead and signed up and chose the american rifleman mag.

The junk mail is why I stopped paying them years ago. They basically take the money and waste it ten fold on mail.

The mail they send out is pennies compared to what they spend to defend our rights as gun owners. You can go to NRA-ILA to see many of the things they are doing for us.

I know what they do for us, but why give someone $25 in membership dues thinking you are funding part of their lobby efforts when in actuality they are spending my $25 and then some to constantly send me renewal requests and other crap like stickers and product marketing. I'd rather them take my $25 and put it were it needs to go not on trying to get more from me.

How much money do you think they spend on marketing to their own members, we are not the ones they should be spending money on. They are unfortunately a necessary evil.

Are you asking if I am single or old? I'm neither.

I bet there is an option that you can have them stop sending that. When i get mine, i'll see if i can find online or call them and tell them to stop wasting money on marketing for current members. That's a common complaint though.
