I went there yesterday, $20 and daughter got in free. I like to go every year, usually to walk around with friends drink in hand and buy things I regret the next morning. This year just my daughter and I went through really quick seeing just the cool stuff and saying hi to outfitters I know. This year is on par with past years, but I thought cool they had an actual Robinson R44 inside plus a few modified hunting trucks that are just sick.

Thought about it but its the wifes B-day this weekend and need to focus on her.
Probably going to make the Houston show next weekend though.

I like to talk to the elk outfitters. I like getting info on possible guides for several areas I'd like to hunt someday. The Baca Ranch is high on my list, however, the odds of winning a draw hunt there are like hitting the Mega Million Lotto pick. The African hunts interest me also. That is high on my bucket list.

went down thurs night to have deen with a ph, and booking agent i know. Went to the show friday and finalized the dates for my 2014 Safari, and talked about the private land elk hunt i have booked later this year. Picked up a couple of Ruark first editions, and the new Ivan Carter DVD as well. Pretty good show.

Just got back, its worth it, if you want to hunt it somebody there has it. Just about any outdoor TV person you can think of is there. I met Razor Dobbs and his wife very nice people, I seen Jim Shockey and his wife, Tony Makris, Jim Zumbo, Ivan Carter, Larry Wisuhn, the Hunt Wicked Close crew who post here and the list goes on. Oh and Eva Shockey she, um, yeah, better than TV.

dallas convention center. I will be making the 350 mile trek east next week for national cheerleading competion. Anyone have any parking recommendation it would be appreciated. Wish I could be there this wknd.
