Not the best pic. Kids saw it just after Christmas and I didn't pay attention to it until yesterday.

We walked past it going to shoot my sons .22 he got from santa and the kids saw it and said what a big track. I didn't look at it but I assumed it was made by a irish wolfhound just down the road. Walked by it yesterday and whoa. I'm thinking CAT too. Guy across the road saw one in his back yard once and someone also saw a momma and her two cubs on the dam of their pond not a mile from here.

Not the best pic. Kids saw it just after Christmas and I didn't pay attention to it until yesterday. I'm 99.9% that just by looking at your picture of the track that it was a female mountain lion inn heat. The other track is your young domestic Tom cat looking for that cougar!!!

Looks like a cat . Dogs have 5 toes and I believe cats have 4 .

Seen that same track a few times on my ranch,,Mountain Lion.
One sure way to tell if it's a Dog or a cat is claw marks. Cats don't leave claw marks.
