Get in line this Saturday they are giving 50 bucks for any working guns and 200 for assault rifles. Wonder how many people will show.

Wonder if I can tape a long magazine to a bolt action shotgun, and call it an assault rifle???

I wonder how many homes will be broken into to get guys to sell back.

BTW, if LEO buys back a gun that has been reported stolen, do they return it to the rightful owner?

I wonder if I could get away with reverse scalping... stand at the end of the line with a hand full of $500.00 bills.

I would suggest a bunch of you guys sit outside the buy back and offer better prices for the decent stuff that is brought in. I bet some decent stuff will be brought.

Actually, I'll offer you guys $75 for working handguns or hunting rifles, and $250 for ARs and AKs. Any takers? I'll even offer $300 for a SBE II. Eh? Eh?

thats smart, like standing outside a pwn shop and buying goods off people selling things. its a win win. they get more money from you and you pay a hell of a whole lot less

Is there some sort of FFL requirement for this church to be able to do this legally?

I have 3 bolt action shotguns without magazines, I'd take 50 a piece for them, but if I stick a $5 MAGAZINE in them, would they be 200?

my brother went to jail last year for it then went to court and beat the Houston Police. when they said it was against the law to do that. So the cops are above the law now lol i would not sell a non working firearm for 50$ at this point.

They go in the crusher...so we're told.
But like was said, just buy them before they go to buy-back. It's legal.

I'm thinking about doing a "gun buy back" myself! Sounds like a great way to cheaply build up the collection!

If I remember correctly, the last time this Dallas church did this, there was a guy outside offering cash for decent weapons. Police said private gun transactions in Texas was legal and there was nothing they could do about it.

Who owns a $50 gun?

I inherited a cheap Raven that's probably only worth $50 but I wouldn't take $50 for it.
