I saw a thread that was keeping track of the number of pigs killed this year. I thought why not Ducks too. I'll start it and ya'll can add on if you feel inclined to.

37 Ducks Down for me this season

117 for me so far.

My clients and I have harvested the following

227 ducks
41 geese
14 cranes

Should add 40-50 more geese & 140-170 more ducks by the 30th

It would be alot more but I have been splitting my time 60/40 deer hunters getting the 60

112 I didn't count any hunt that resulted in two or less birds.

Our group (Dad, dad's friend, I, Grandpa, and a few others here and there) have cleared 200, closing in on 300 I think. Usually have 3-4 people total/trip and have averaged 10 birds/trip roughly.

I'm sitting around 200 on ducks, and 60 on canadas. All personal hunts with family and friends.

232 for me on ducks and geese. Will do group tally at the end of season but prob close to 600 now.

Me and my two partners that hunt our lease strictly on Saturday mornings are at 119 at this point. We were at 100 ducks on the last day of the first split. That is how slow it has gotten.

I feel your pain Water Turkey, we were at 164 before the split and now are at 181. Its been super slow up here

It's not that had when you only got 2. But I do the same with dove, that way I can beat last years record.

So far I've seen 287 birds go down, 101 personally shot. I use group average on hunts I'm with other people.

I keep a log (#'s) at the request of the property owner. I have added to it things like weather, moon phase, wind direction. It is interesting to look back on during the dog days of summer.

You bet! Not for bragging, well, maybe a little......mostly keep logs to help me in the future. I do it with fish and fur too!

i dont thnk that is to bad considering this is my first year and i been learning all on my own!!!

U have way too much free time.....

I keep a log book of who, where, what. I can tell u within a couple days when the mallards will show up. When the ringers show, when the redheads come,leave, and comeback. I know which lake to hunt on what wind, etc.

My 12 yr logbook has pretty much shown me to forget fronts-they don't bring photomigrator birds to centex, the changes is farming/planting/ hunting practices changed the mallard migration starting in 98(97-800+mallards, 98-200, 99 on- no more than 50/yr. )
