Hey guys I have a lead on what looks like a pretty nice lease in SE Oklahoma. The lease is in Pushmataha County, which is a bear county as well during bear season. The lady I spoke with has 2200 acres next to this and they are subleasing this place out. She said they have hunted their place for 7 years and have killed several in the 150-160 class and her husband has seen one pushing 190. The lease is 3360 acres and I am looking for 6 to 8 more guys. There is no electric or water, but there are some nice areas to make a camp. The Little River runs almost right down the middle. It is timber company land, but there is only one clear cut area right now.
Shoot me a PM if interested. Would like to see about making this happen pretty quickly before they move on to another group.
Thanks, TJ

Big deer out that way. Some of that land you have to watch for guys running deer with dogs across lots of land.

Looks like price per family membership is going to be $650 to $850 depending on exact number of spots.
That price is for year round lease for deer, bear, hog, turkey, fishing, and any other legal activity.

One more thing I just thought of, for $85 you can buy a permit to access the Honobia Creek WMA, which is another 80000 acres. Being on this lease you can get into the back side of the WMA where lots of people cant or don't get to go. The permit also gives you access to Three Rivers which is over 200,000 acres of public hunting.

As of right now it looks like all spots are filled. I have a large waiting list and will work off that list for any spots than open up.
Thanks for everyone's interest.

Okay, had a couple guys decide not to join lease. Have 2 spots open.
$800 each. Guests and family hunt off your state limit.
Saw lots of tracks and several deer just driving around in the 100 degree weather on Wednesday. Lots of wildlife and beautiful mountain scenery.
PM for details and I have more maps and pics available as well.

i think the OK tag is $285 for non residents
If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

Thanks. That's not as high as I feared. Might make an Oklahoma lease feasible after all.

Otherwise you have to purchase separate tags for Rifle (about 17 days to hunt 1 buck 1 doe I think) or Muzzleloader about the same as rifle on days to hunt or Archery is 3 months of hunting up to 6 deer. All tags are the same price. This may not be exact on number of deer and days to hunt but its close. Kids have to pay the same price as adults.
