Nice I've seen three in Texas. PK, Hubbard Creek, and a private lake in Ellis County.

Very nice pictures!

I do not think alot of people realize how Majestic they are.
I will never forget being at the zoo and seeing one that got real close to me.

Gave me goose bumps!

Amazing animals to see in the wild. I've seen a few in the Red River and got within 20yrds of one while checking cattle.

Nice. I have seen one in Mills County, a pair in Palo Pinto on the Brazos River and a pair in Hood County around Lake Granbury. Awesome sight. Thanks for sharing

That's awesome. I remember when I was a kid, there were a couple of them that nested on the island at Lake Athens. They stayed there a couple years, then vanished.

We have a pair that hang around our lease in Mills Co
Had no clue they were around until one flew over me one morning.

Very nice. I've only seen a few in Texas. The highest concentration of Bald Eagles I've ever seen is in the Atchafalya Basin in Louisiana. I saw 6 in one day while fishing last year!!

Thanks everyone, the only way it would have been better is if he would have climbed out and spread his wings for us.

About how long ago was this? My grandparents used to own a lot right there by the island and I vaguely seem to remember someone saying something about eagles there on the island.
