I'm a believer now in the electronic callers! I've heard a few cats on our place before but never seen one in m 25 years of hunting it in Leon County. Grabbed my new caller and just held it out in my tree stand because I forgot to place it before climbing the tree (lazy) and this cat appeared at 30 yds. within the first 3-4 minutes - grabbed the .308 with my free hand and squeezed her off...fun stuff right there!

Hi knfguy,

Sweet... eCallers allow you to separate your sound from yourself, unlike month calling. That can really help you avoid detection.

What sound did you use?

Regards,

used the cotton tail call but switched pretty quickly over to jackrabbit. This was a very inexpensive one I picked up at Academy too that actually has a pretty good volume to it.

I know right! Yeah, I'm not sure how it hit him the way it did but basically looks like he was gutted down the middle
