I use panacure (i think thats how you spell it) 1c.c. for every 10 pounds I give it to them 3 days in a row, every six months. I use ivomec for heartworms.

Ivermectin for heartworms. If you buy it at a feed store you will pay less than $20 and won't use even half of the bottle before it expires three years down the road.

Be sure to get a 1cc syringe and calculate proper dosage (most people don't convert it from micrograms and end up giving way too much -- a little time researching this can help you figure it correctly -- but fortunately the typical overdosing rarely causes problems). FWIW

Nope. Got mine at the feed store in McKinney and my neighbor bought some there just the other day as well.

Injection type but DO NOT inject it. Squirt it on a piece of bread and feed it to the dog. Some folks dilute it with something else because it is bitter but my dog will eat anything. I get the generic 1% solution for cattle, but lots of folks use the Ivomec brand.

I haven't, I use the injection type (in the mouth), but several of the big name trainers say they use the paste, one click for each 50lbs.
