My 15 year old daughter has gotten interested in archery.I need to get her a bow and don't know which one would work best for her age.She will eventually hunt deer with it, so it needs to be powerful enough to take a deer down.I have @ $300.00 to spend and maybe add a little more if needed. Please help with the right choice. Thanks

X2 on the Mission. Bought my girlfriend a Misson Craze and it is $299 bare. It is an awesome bow, perfect for a young girl and it is also very adjustable so it will last her a long time.

Take her to a pro shop or even a cabelas and have her draw length figured out then let her shoot bows that are in your price range. Mission diamon razor edge pse bear All of those brands have bows that are in your price range that are suited for youth/women shooters that are very adjustable and can be use to hunt with.

Mission Craze all the way. And if you ever needed to use it, a quick 2 minute move the screws in the cams and a few twists to increase pounds and sight in, good to go.

Diamond edge or the diamond infinite edge. Either one is good and they dont have the sloppy feel that other highly adjustable bows have.

Bowtech Soldier is another great bow. It will adjust way down on draw length and weight but also go high enough to make it an adult bow. My son shot one for a couple of years before he HAD to have a Destroyer.

Mission Craze is the way to go, If she decides she doesn't like it after awhile move 2 screws that change the draw lenght and use it for yourself or as a back up. Pay attention to the red words.

Bear Apprentice is also a great bow for the money and is highly adjustable as well. My youngest daughter shoots one and loves it.

I looked at the Mission, PSE, and the Diamond bows for my daughter.

She came home with a Hoyt Ruckus. http://www.hoyt.com/compound_bows/details/ruckus

It is not quite as adjustable as some of the other bows on the market, but the fit and finish is far superior. Cranking it down to 45lbs is plenty for her to hunt with ethically. It shoots as fast or faster at 25 than my first compound bow did at 50lbs draw weight.

I figure that when she's got this bow bottomed out, and she's still interested in shooting, then it's time to get her a top end bow to hunt and target shoot.
