223.........0.75-$1.25 per round for the cheap stuff
AR15 started at about $1500 and went through the clouds from there for basic rifles. Most started at about $1800

Stripped lowers started at about $350.
Pmags (and all makes over 10rd) were $50+ even the old beat up GI steel mags.

NIB waser 10/63 AKs started at $1100 up to $1650 for a $450 rifle

There were SKSs from $350 to $750

Glock mags over 10rd were $50.....22&33rd were $80-$100

When the doors opened there was a line from the door that wrapped around the north end of the parking lot.

Only reason I'm going is to help a friend not get screwed on buying a pistol. He will owe me big time

anyone and everyone who has an AR is down there trying to get $1700-$2500 for their gun. Lots walking around, did not look like many were changing hands..DPMS Oracle that sold two weeks ago at Wal-Mart for $599 priced at $1700..Wait it out ...

I figger it was ridiculous down there. I stopped by Cabela's for some scope rings. People were standing 3 and 4 deep at the gun counter. It was amazing to see how few guns they had on their racks. Looked like people were buying anything they could get their hands on. The ammo isles were destroyed. I've never seen them so bare...

I was there. 9 dollar P-mags are now 65 dollars. it was a total and complete nightmare. I live about a mile from will rodgers and go to all the shows. I was so bothered by the prices that i had to leave.

If any of the venders from the gun shows are reading this. I want to say... Just because one jerk sold something for a 650% profit it doesn't mean that everyone is now willing to pay your ridiculous prices. I'll be sure to remember who you were and not buy from you in the future.

Knew this would be the case. Didn't even want to spend the 9 bucks to confirm it. SMH

There's a notable chance there might not be a future for such sales.

People are going to fall for it for a while, at least until the numbers are back up.

MAGPUL has something like 750,000 Pmags on back order.

I ordered 40 FDE 308 ones a couple months ago and they never shipped then this happened. I am guessing it could be a long time before I'll have them.

What's really dumb is that I can shoot 10 empty and reload 10 more only a couple seconds slower than someone can shoot 30 rounds. Mag capacity is a stupid thing to regulate.

If you haven't already bought it, most likely you really don't need it. Need and want are 2 different things, we all want a lot of crap we don't need. Get what you need and then worry about what you want. That will make life a lot easier to deal with.

Whats tough is all the ammo i hoarded way back i have to keep sitting on. Me and some of my buddies had been going to a property to mess around and do some target shooting. But as of a few weeks ago we're saving the ammo and got air guns. Not as fun but we still get to get out.

If and when this is over, i need to hoard more. Crazy and stupid i know.

I was there Model 1 DID NOT sell out, but the common 5.56 A3-A4 were wiped out. I got a odd ball 16" 7.62x39 AR upper Sunday afternoon. WE were next to them at the show, Friday at setup he had a line of dealers buying, and Sat. the line was 20-30 people long ALL day. A local "reloading company" by us told me they SOLD 60,000 rounds of 223. $75/100 or $375/500. WE continued to "tick" off vendors around us because we wouldn't mark up our mags to their price ($50-60 each)One of them got so mad Sunday when I marked ours down even lower, he packed up and left!

My buddy went on Sunday. He said lots of folks walking around with ARs asking high prices but after a few hours of walking he said he never saw any being bought.

I went to Academy yesterday morning to try and snag some ammo from a fresh shipment. I got there 45 minutes before they opened and had 15 people already ahead of me. The manager came out just before opening and said that he has gotten 5 ARs in. The first 5 people took them and half of the line went home. There was some Hornady $45 a box stuff was still there when I got in, I passed. It was gone before I went home, empty handed.
I too went to Cabelas in Allen. 4-5 deep at the gun counter. I couldn't even get to the scope section.
I went by Bass Pro while in San Antonio to check out the scene. I watched as ever guy in the store made a pass through the bullet section hoping to get lucky.
It is nuttso out there.
