Large cutting diameter for best chance at cutting an artery or doing alot of damage. My friend has always had good luck killing them stone cold dead with Montech G5's...I personally would stay away from mechanicals but that's just a personal preference on turkeys.

Just shoot the head you use for deer. I've killed a dozen with thunder heads and steel force. Break the wing butts or shoot em in the head if they run let them bleed just like anything else. Don't jump up and try to catch em like folks do that shot gun em. It's good times you'll enjoy it.

If you are in an elevated blind it is cool to stick them to the ground

A 2" rage worked for me. These birds are tough.
It's the time spent in God's creation with family and friends making memories that counts.

Fixed Blade. Lopper or Guillotine Style blade for head shots or a standard Muzzy will do just fine in the wing area.

Any BH that you use for deer will suffice.

My cousin has shot 2 turkeys that last 2 years.. Both with Crimson Talon broad-heads... But in both cases the turkeys ended up flying off with his arrow still stuck in them.. Not sure why this has happened to him, think he may need more practice or something..

Any fixed broadhead to the neck or head will work just fine.

I use the guillotine the heads flys right off.
If your lucky, line up two turkeys and shot them with a two blade Blood runner.

Whatever you shoot deer or pigs with will work. Rage does just as well.

shoot them in the head? SERIOUSLY? what are you william tell? Do you have any idea how hard it is to shoot a turkey in the head while he is moving? Its not like the SOB is gonna stand still for you! ROFLMAO! if you are using standard broad heads the best shot placement and 100% kill shot is to wait for the tom to turn around backwards while strutting and shoot him in the butt hole or from the front aim for the base of the neck as you will hit all the vitals!

whatever brodhead his fine. I like the big fixed blades... dont take a shot if they are in full strut because all the feathers can fool you... other than that aim just under the base of the wing and they wont go far. Goodluck!

Well yeah I got a real good idea how hard it is to hit em in the head with a bow, I've done it. The vitals aren't much bigger than the head, the head moves more I get it but a guy named "Turkey Hunter" should know that an archer that can call that's in a Double Bull can get a bird to ten yards pretty easy and a well timed putt on a call will stop the gobblers head moving long enough to hit it. It's not that hard really, a little practice and a little effort.

I hit at least half of em in the head if that's where I'm aiming but what's the problem with that? If I feel I need a turkey that bad then Ill shoot one in the body some where but to act like it can't be done is nuts it happens all the time. I don't shoot guillotines either just a Thunderhead or Steel Force. Are you a bow hunter?

A 2" rage worked for me. These birds are tough. I agree. You can't go wrong with a 2'' rage. No need to get the new turkey heads that Rage came out with.

I agree with CMC. I use Thunderheads Turkey hunting. If you are in a blind and can call you can hit them. Have you ever hunted ducks with a bow. That's a blast. You get them out of the air or off the water. I use Muzzys for Ducks.

I'm not gonna lie I say I shot em in passing at forty yards but duck hunters tell me if you can land em in the decoys then your good. Well land em in the decoys and get off an arrow should be real good. It's tough and cost in arrows but who likes duck anyway? Connecting on one in the air is quite a feat unless your Tim Wells he shoots dove and pidgin flying pretty regular.
