Hunting a family place this morning... Had at least 300-400 ducks on the water but the problem is it is about 30-40acres so we couldn't get ducks to work our spread... When we would have birds come in we would shoot which would get the other birds stirred up but they would come back in and land in the same spots away from us... Any advice on how to hunt a setup like this?

Next time setup where you saw them dumping into. There's something about that spot they prefer. Also check to make sure you're covered up really well and no overturned decoys and things like that to cause them to flare

Also may not be a bad idea to split up and have a group/person on each end of the lake

This, we hunt several 15+ acre tanks and this is the only method that consistently works

Use a layout boat or small john boat. Get out in the middle where they are wanting to be. Lay down, cover up good and keep a low profile.
