How do I get another license. I've looked everywhere and have no idea what I did with my wallet or if I droped it somewhere.

I did the same thing about 15 years ago. You should be able to simply go to the store you bought from or possibly even any store that sells them to purchase a replacement. Since it's all stored online, they should have record of your original license at state level. I believe they cancel the lost one and register the new one. Think it cost $25 back then.

If that is not the process then I went to the local branch of TPWD in Corpus Christi and paid the $25.

Did this a few years ago, I got a replacement at Academy since that was where I purchased the license. Apparently I must have thought that was a great place for my original license too...as it was still in there. D'oh.

This should help:

I Lost My Military Super Combo last year, and went into the Breckenridge Wal-Mart day before Christmas Eve. Any of you knw Breckenridge know that this is the exact WRONG time of the year to go into this particular Walmart as it is still the old little one!! Well I stand at the sporting goods counter for 30 minutes before I'm told someone would be there Soon...ANOTHER 30 MINS waiting on the "SOMEBODY SOON" that person ended up being a manager.she appologizes profusely about how sorry she is, this and that....well I fill out all the necessary paperwork, she filled out her spot, printed my reprint and sent me on my way. never asked for a dime!!!

I lost my wallet about 2 months ago.

Went online to the TPWD and sent email to apply for a replacement hunter safety card. Arrived within the next week.

You can go to any location to get a replacement license. Unfortunately, the cpus at walmart were not working correctly, so I ended up having to go the the TPWD office and it only took about 5 mins.

Good luck, I know it's a pain in the hind quarters.

SS# should suffice, I was able to purchase my father's and wife's licenses with that along with basic info (residence, etc.)

Yes even I did this once & got duplicate license. Do you know your license number? It will be easy duplication procedure.

I loose my license every year on purpose. You get a brand new license with all the tags, cheaper than the one you bought the first time. Its just like getting a prescription refilled.
