wow. i watched that video on good and bad dog food and ingredients, i am definitely changing my dogs to something new. some eye opening stuff about what goes into the leading selling brands.
how much/ how many times a day do you guys feed the blue buffalo or nutro? i have a 12yo and a 6mo. do you feed wet food as well, vet on that vid said dogs on a dry food diet are constantly dehydrated. hmmmmm We feed nutro 2x a day. Never noticed a dehydration problem, but they pretty much live in their kiddy-pools, especially in this west texas heat.

Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden. Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

http://www.eukanuba.com/en-US/index.jspx?gclid=COX658iv1qoCFeILtAodpBru6AEukanuba I live in Houston and it is always hot and humid. I feed the same fat-protein all year round. I can train longer in this heat then any other dog food without the dog getting too hot. My dogs coats are always shinny and healthy. I have used all the major brands and this brand has to be the best. You can always find coupons on line if you are worried about the cost. Could not agree more!!! I feed the 30/20. Which coincidentally is feed by more professional field trial trainers then any other brand. If those who feed it for a living use it, it's good enough for me.

Eukanuba is all I use. We have a very good family friend who is a veternarian for over 30 years and i was told by him only Eukanuba, BBW has to much filling and not enough neutrition. Also if not Eukanuba then Science Diet would be my second choice

If you live in Houston, especially the west side, Auburn Kennels - 713.465.7848 has the best prices on premium dog foods. I have a 14 year old golden on Taste of the Wild. She is doing great for her age and still hunts.
