Have someone pee on it...Nevermind, that could lead to other complications. Calamine lotion works good. Just don't overmedicate. You'll be pink on the noodle like a D!@# on a Poodle.

Ivy dry for normal areas but not sue about where you have it. I would go to the Dr. and get a shot its a lot quicker and more effective.

We use Zanfyl you can get it at any drug store or walmart

Does the cider marinate the affected area? Heck, fire up the smoker.

The doctor will likely prescribe a corticosteroid, either by a shot or possibly prednisone tablets.

The closest you can come to that OTC is probably non-prescription hydrocortisone cream.

If the cream doesn't make some progress in 24 hrs, I'd go to the doctor.

I have to be the worlds expert on ivy after everything I've been through in my life. if I know I got it bad I just go straight to the doctor for shot and a series. honestly I like a little poison ivy now and then, those hot showers better than a Coors mowing the lawn on a hot day.

I had in that area before. The worst is yet to come for you if you don't go to the doctor and get a shot. I used the Zanfyl on the area. It was like pulling your thing with sand paper. But it was the the best feeling ever since it wasn't itching. That's the best way I can describe it.

Go buy the cheapest bottle of vodka you can buy. Soak cotton balls with the vodka and rub it on the affected areas. It will dry up and stop the itch within 24 hrs. Had a dr tell me this years ago. Have personally used this method several times and has always worked well for me

Tecnu works great. My mom will get a rash if she walks within 2 foot of poison ivy seems like and this is the best she has found after years of dealing with it.

Oak-N-Ivy is what I use. It comes with a bottle of tecnu to remove the toxins and a bottle of a soothing/drying agent.

Good thing for shots. Don't want to get caught rubbing lotion on it. lol

Used to work for a tree service and would get it often, we would put gas on a rag and then rub it on the spot would be gone in a day. Seeing how you don't want to rub gas on your pal, vodka works just as well. Go buy a little bottle of the cheap stuff and pour it on. Will be gone the next day, and is cheaper than the other remedies.

Go to the doctor. Ask for the steriod shot AND the steriod cream. With the two you wont itch

You could pee on yourself too, it also cures athletes foot.

Screw anything but a shot! It'll work fast and the itch is gone and rash too in less than 24 hours.
