I picked one up (fn fal 308) a few months ago from a friend in need of money. Looks really used and has strange stamps on the side. Just wondering if anyone knows the value so I can trade it for something of interest. I cannot post pics on here but I will be glad to email to someone who can! Thanks.

FAL's were made and issued by over 90 countries, with at least 10-15 of them manufacturing them.
Without good in-focus closeup pics of the markings, I couldn't say.

Mags are available just about anywhere online.
Be aware there are two types, metric and inch.
Inch: British, Canadian, Australian "Commonwealth" rifles.
Metric: Everyone else in the world.
IIRC metric can use inch mags but not the other way around, though I may have that backwards.
