Ok, after three years need more percussion caps.....been shooting cci#11 no problems....My employee bought some remington #10's today..for my t/c hawkens.....I was under the impression they were more for pistols...salesman told him use them in anything.... any one have experience with these in rifles???? Do I use them are trash them????

Send em to me if you don't want em. They are smaller diameter for revolver nipples, but I'd bet they'll touch off the charge in your T/C Hawken. I have the exact same rifle and I have shot it with 10's before and nary a problem.

I could never get them to fit on my rifle nipple...only pistols. May or may not work...worth a try!

Per-suction caps? Nipples? Just get a rock and whack the frizzen.

I get inconsistent results with them on my Pedersoli due to them not seating all the way on the nipple.
Take 'em to the range and try 'em. IME, if they doent seat snug you'll get misfires.
Be a shame to lose a trophy over $7.00 worth of caps.

ran out of caps for my .45 kentucky tried using the smaller caps while just plinking, they fired after letting the hammer down the second or third time, always keep barrel pointed in safe direction whin doing this.. an never whin hunting.. have used the bigger caps on my .44 pistal had to crimp the caps ta keep them from falling off, again just plinking..

Seems to be inconsistent sizing between manufacturers also.
