I had to cancel my trip to the deer lease this weekend because I tested positive for the flu. Got a text from my cousin who is also on the lease. What was it?? A picture of my mother with her first ever deer. She has been going to the deer woods for as long as I can remember. She has always went because that is what my dad enjoyed, she was the camp cook (Still is really) and a couple years ago decided that she was going to sit in her own deer blind. She finally conected with this 8 point this morning. I could not be more proud of her, I just regret that I could not be there for her big moment. Way to go Mom!!!! I love you.
