No this was in Oklahoma. We really dont have many birds so far at my place in Fannin county this year! I found where they are for sure. We shot 5 man limt on Canadians and Mallards wednesday and thursday. I will put the pic up of the birds...We were done rather quick and just laid in the lay down watching them. I had a professional guy video the hunt and it will be edited and up in a 3 weeks or so. Now that will be the clip to watch. Unbeleivable!!!!

It is hard to find peanuts in Texas any more. We used to have peanuts in Comanche County.

One more reason to hate Oklahoma (The Sooners being the other  ) And Mallards are really dumb ducks. Did you see how they were pushing the Canada goose decoys out of the way just to eat some peanuts?  Great video and that would be a hunt of a lifetime.

Dont ya wonder what clicks in their little heads when after circling and swooping in low for 20 minutes, they suddenly decide to land in mass?
Do the lead birds suddenly see a deek move just right or the perfect gust of wind hits them in the face?
Things that make me go "hmmmm ?"
Of coarse you have the ever present question: "would they have acted the same without the mojo?" . . . duck hunter insanity at it's best.

That's Fort Cobb...Farmers want you to hunt the peanuts to keep the geese off the wheat. Public lake right in the middle of it...
Tipton/Fredrick is getting alot more peanuts...
You can always go to Rochester, Tx for peanuts and fight the guides....
Or seminole county which had about 75,000 acres of peanuts this year....
But Fort Cobb is something to see....when there are peanuts.
