My buddy I was supposed to go with had a meeting this am but I was able to get out for a quick solo hunt before work. Doubled on the Greentops and the gads I singled out in groups. Hen gad was the last one...unfortunately. A smooth morning. Just something nice about a trip where everything goes as planned and really allows you to enjoy it. It helps I've hunted this spot a ton. Funny thing about this spot is there aren't ever enough hunters to keep the birds moving so kind of makes it tough once they get wise. That being said I do enjoy the peace and quite. Saw an encouraging number of new birds in the general area. Will be hitting it up this weekend with the boys for sure. Hope to see more green on the ground.

Good hunt Austin. Public spots where "there aren't ever enough hunters to keep the birds moving" are few and far inbetween. Cherish it.

Only took me 10 years to find one of these spots. I definitly appreciate it every time I go.
