My taxidermist scored him at a 148" and If he wasn't broken off that he would score a 152". Figured i would share it with yall.. this is a (low fence) axis

I hunt 20 miles east of Sonora off of Baker Road. I am loading my chaffhaye in my truck tomorrow headed that way hoping to get an axis buck. That's one nice buck.

good luck dwalls.. i got really lucky..we have had some on camera some this year but dont always see them.. but last sunday i did..and thankfully dropped him yeah. same exact thing we see. They appear on camera and then disappear sometimes for weeks at a time. Hopefully I will have some pics to post next week.

Had one come to the feeder this evening. Was in velvet right before where his caudals would come out. Brow tines had to be 12" in velvet. He will be a shooter this spring. Gave me more of a buck fever that these WT do!
