After watching videos, Ted and Pig boy and watching even some of the government contracted birds work I have found a serious issue with this process. They cross property lines forcing pigs off of properties they don't have permission, authorization, clearance to hunt. This is the equivalent of a dog hunters dogs running hogs across someones land the hunters don't have permission to hunt or doing a drive to push animals off of land someone doesn't have permission to hunt on to huntable land. Seems like it could be a trespassing issue to me.

Legally it's not a trespassing issue but more of a courtesy and respect for others issue. There are flight regs for altitude over populated areas though or in controlled airspace. Likely not applicable to most rural areas.

I guess all of the ones that they shot out of bob richardsons trap and he saw them do it was no evidence? He got ahold of some guy over the program and they basicly told him he could keep his mouth shut. They told him that they enforced the laws and they choose not to enforce that one.

I heard an old feller was feeding cows and the Feild next to his was crop dusting, the plane flying over was scaring his cows, so he whipped out the old 30-06 and shot at the plane a few times and hit it twice. He was sentenced to jail for 100 years and was fined half a million for attempt to destroy an aircraft and attempt at manslaughter.

Still waiting for reasons why you think that . X2 I figure if there are hogs on your place they just got anialated. So no problems for you unless they shoot one of your pieces of property.

Your assuming I believe hogs on "my" place are a problem. and I'm saying if they fly low over "my" place and scare the hogs over onto another property where they have permission to hunt they trespassed just as if the personally conducted a game drive or sent their dogs across the property line to run the pigs out. It was just a question to stimulate thought and isdea exchange. I personally don't own any hog occupied property. Yet.

LOL, just because you say they trespassed does not make it so. The hogs do not belong to you, not if they are feral hogs.
You might consider violation of air space laws, but that is different than what you are saying is trespassing.

Strange how people get hogs and government programs mixed up. Today the hogs and next week the deer. You don't own deer either unless you have a high fence. I've lost fruit trees to deer. What if man is leasing his land for hog hunts and putting out feeders, then someone runs the hogs off? There goes his new truck that year. One thing that does amaze me is how people who lease land for deer hunting think their lease is the most important income the landowner has? Unless that is his only income then it is probably secondary. You don't want stray dogs running on your leased property or coming around your feeders yet all ok for people to drive hogs where they wish.

You said they were flying over other property.how do you know that ?
The landowner owns the hog on their property.q A high fence doesn't stake claim on freer.

When I was trapping for the County I had to have landowner permission to put a snare on their fence even if it was on the outside of the property with access to a county road. Being denied access has always been the biggest stumbling block to effective varmint control, they learn quick where is safe and where its not. I believe in property rights being absolute, but I've seen herds of pigs hole up in a place we couldn't fly by the hundreds. We only hunted places we had permission to hunt mostly because the land owners were the ones chipping in for the cost of the bird and shooters. Never occured to me to herd off a safe place onto a hot zone, but its a good idea
