This is this second one we have gotten close to this year. I managed to take a good picture of this one and a really good video but i cant figure out how to post the video. The first one we found my buddy actually caught it by the tail and held it for about thirty seconds before it had a spaz attack. Will post other picture if I can find it.

Enjoy!

they make awesome little mounts. We used to have a bunch on our ranch until the severe drought in 2011. Haven't seen one since then.

I've only seen one of them. Years ago my brother and I were cleaning out blinds before the season and the door wasn't closed all the way on one. We opened the door and that dude flew out of there. Scared the carp out of us.

I have seen two this year one by Llano and one by Blanco. Before that I had never seen one in my life. They are neat critters.

The mount above looks good...

We had one at the lease last year that hung around camp. He'd come in and run around us at the campfire, picking up scraps. Didn't seem to have much fear of us.

we used to have whole families run around but the drought did them all in. Sad. But for that we have coons out of the kazoo. Time to thin out their ranks.

are you seriously tossing those ringtails out for the buzzard? You know they go for about $50 to $70 for a good whole ringtail on www.taxidermy.net. We sold one last year for $70 on there.
