I'm looking at making a backstop for my target range but dont know what i should use. Any suggestions?

A dump truck full of dirt works well. After it's dumped of course.

There used to be a foam mnfr. down the street from my office. I will get their name off of their old building and post it. I would think you could get the foam and make an oversized block style target using 2x4's and threaded rod.

use a sheet of 7/16 OSB...its only about $6 a sheet. you might lose a fletching, but you wont lose the arrow.

Those industrial cushion mats like they use in warehouses work well. Talking about the ones used for standing on in shipping departments. Little hard to pull the arrow out, but they'll definately stop it.

a huge peice of styrofoam works great. 5x5 or 6x6 and they are about 2ft deep. sometimes you can find them at construction sites. maybe even ask a construction company if they have any.
