Well, still in the slump. I've got many does moving and feeding, some smalls and spike bucks, but still not seeing the bigger boys. Maybe next week will do better. How're the rest of my Kimble co. brothers doing?

Hang in there. Cold weather is on it's way. Hopefully it'll pick up and they'll get to moving around soon.

I'm doing about the same as you. Just got back in blind so hopefully afternoon hunt will be better than this mornings. It's nice out, just wish it was cooler.

Saw plenty of does and younger bucks. 1 or 2 three year 8's but no shooters. that was this past weekend, did see a badger though!

Headed down this weekend. Maybe the cooler weather on Sunday will help. Funny thing, we had a large herd of Axis on our place and they have been MIA this season. If y'all see them tell them to come home.

Another slow afternoon for me. Some does but no bucks.
Also saw 1 axis doe & her fawn + several turkeys.

Looking for a ten we see on the game camera....in the blind now. Seems to be a "small rut" going on. Two does are getting chased fierce by some young 8's...

Was at the lease last week, Hunted hard only taking a 2 hour break from 11-1 for lunch. 3 days a no mature bucks. Deer activity was minimal all week. Dad spotted a monster 10 but no shot.

Headed back Tues. Morning when I finish my last night. Will be in the stand for a week. Got that itch.

Gonna head out wednesday and give it another try. I've seen a nice 10 there in the off season, but not since. Hoping he'll come back for a visit. You've probably answered this before, but where you at? I'm off rr 385 and 377, near red creek cemetery.

We had a few bucks running does Saturday - Monday, but a couple of them had broken horns that would have been pretty good deer. A few does must not have been bred earlier.

My son shot a pretty good Sika Sunday afternnon before the wind kicked up too bad.

The Axis are still a no show. We saw 1 small doe and heard one calling but did not see him. We used to have 30 or 40 in a big herd we could always count on seeing.
