This was my youngest daughters first year to hunt.When she said she was ready to start hunting this past summer,it didnt take me long to get her a rifle built that would fit her perfectly and get to shooting. And she can shoot! I am one Very Proud Dad !  Her First Deer  Her Second Deer  Her FirstBuck  Her Second Buck

Heck I'm 31 and she is doin better than me. Would rather a kiddo get one than me anyway. Great job. Congrats to her on some awesome animals.

it didnt take me long to get her a rifle built that would fit her perfectly and get to shooting That is a real problem too. Kids having to adapt to a rifle too big, too long LOP and too much recoil. If it fits, they will shoot it if not afraid of it. Congrats Dad and Congrats to your daughter, the Huntress!!

My little girl is 7, about to turn 8. Just not sure she can do it yet. How old are most girls when they begin? I was 9 when I killed my first deer.

My daughter is almost 8 and I just can't trust her enough to get a firearm yet. Her listening skills need to improve. So I'm sure every kiddo is different.
