The baldy. Golden nuggets work just as good as core by the way. I can save my map with locations we were feeding out ans hunting if anyone wants iy.

Best places to hunt are the pastures by the rangers houses. Yes, im being serious.

I scouted there during dove season and its the pasture that I liked most. Saw two big deer from the hill. They were below by the tripod.

I was told it has 1 deer for every 15 acres and a 1 to 1 ratio. We have seen great deer in here just nothing has panned out so far. We all had shot opportunities.

TPWD Chaparral Wildlife Management Area. It's 15000 acres of public hunting in south Texas. Hunters are chosen by lottery. It's the best chance at a trophy buck in Texas.
